Mike has been in the handyman industry now for more than 20 years. He is our main handyman and lead tech. Mike started the business Handyman Happens because in the previous company he worked, he was not happy with how he saw his boss was treating their clients. He wanted to do better and knew he could!

Mike enjoys troubleshooting, and is happiest when he is faced with a challenge. He loves figuring out a problem, and then finding a solution and building that solution. He loves that he gets to do something different every single day.

He is fun-loving and has a care-free personality. His hobbies include: snowboarding, skating, four-wheeling, or anything else that gets his blood pumping fast.

Sara is the office & operations manager for Handyman Happens. She answers all phone calls, handles scheduling for estimates and jobs, tracks down & orders parts and materials, and generally works with customers throughout every project. If clients have a question or an issue on a job, Sara is the go-to contact to get those questions answered and make sure the job stays on track and is on budget.

Sara says her favorite part of the job is building relationships with the clients with whom they work. And that goes beyond just helping them with their home-repair needs. Many clients of Handyman Happens have become friends over the years and often refer THEIR friends and family to the company because of Sara's personal relationship with them.

Her main interests are her family and traveling. Sara says her favorite trip so far was to Thailand. She is hoping soon to travel to Egypt  to see the pyramids.

Travis has known and been a long-time friend of owners Mike & Sara. They knew of his handyman experience over the years and appreciated not only his craftmanship, but also his strong work ethic. Still, it took them a couple of years to persuade Travis to join the Handyman Happens team. He finally came on board in January 2021 and has been a huge asset to the company. 

Customers rave about Travis' skill, professionalism and his attention to detail. He gets high marks as well for his honesty and integrity. No job seems to be too big or too small for his talents. Many customers say they also appreciate Travis' cheerful and patient demeanor - he is very personable with everyone.

When he's not being a "jack of all trades" with Handyman Happens, Travis spends time on his hobbies, which include cooking and roller-skating.
